At Hilborn
Ellis Grant LLP, we recruit both full-time university graduates and students
registered in qualified co-operative education university programs. We
believe strongly in building our professional team from the ground up
and are constantly seeking out new students with a high level of energy,
good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
You
must be a highly motivated self-starter with strong inter-personal and
communications skills. You should be an accounting major with a familiarity
of basic accounting and personal income tax concepts and computer based
accounting and taxation software.
If
you join us, you will have the opportunity to work both independently
and as part of an audit team under the supervision of senior chartered
accountants. Your work assignments will provide exposure to auditing,
financial accounting, corporate and personal taxation, and other professional
services, which we provide our diverse clientele.
Students
will be encouraged to return for future work terms and be asked to take
on challenging responsibilities at an ever-increasing level as they gain
experience and confidence.
Our firm's mission is to provide the highest quality of personal service to assist our clients in achieving their goals, while providing a work environment that assists our people in obtaining their objectives.
At
Hilborn Ellis Grant LLP you will receive on-going practical training in
a very hands-on environment. As a mid-sized, long-established firm of
Chartered Accountants we provide immediate on-the-job training as well
as professional development courses provided through our ICAO approved
Educational Consortium. To learn more about our Student Training Programs
